Uetliberg & Zurich Tours and Tickets

Guided hikes on the mountain, the best of Zurich below it and the Alps beyond — every experience worth booking, compared.

You do not need a tour to visit the Uetliberg — the S10 train and a pair of shoes will do. But a guide, a pass or a well-chosen day trip can make a Zurich stay much easier, and that is what this page is for.

A word of honesty: GetYourGuide currently lists only a handful of experiences on the mountain itself, and several are new, with few or no reviews yet. We show them clearly labelled, and add the best-rated Zurich tours, tickets and day trips that fit naturally around a Uetliberg visit. Prices are indicative “from” prices in euros and change with season and exchange rate — tap any card for the live price in your own currency.

Good to know

Booking questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a tour to visit the Uetliberg?

No. The S10 train runs from Zürich main station to the mountain and the paths are well signposted. A guided hike is worth it if you want company, local stories or simply not to think about the route.

Why are there so few Uetliberg tours?

Because the mountain is so easy to visit independently. GetYourGuide lists only a handful of Uetliberg-specific experiences, some of them new and without reviews. We list them honestly and add well-reviewed Zurich tours and day trips.

Is the Zürich Card worth it for the Uetliberg?

If you also plan to use trams, visit a museum or take the short lake cruise on the same day, usually yes. For the Uetliberg alone, a simple day pass for the required zones is cheaper.

What is included in the price?

It depends on the listing: city tours usually include the guide and transport, tickets include entry only, and long day trips often include mountain railway tickets. Each listing spells it out before you pay.

Can I cancel if the weather turns?

Most listings offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start. The exact terms are shown on each product page.
